Running home, running back

And we woke to this sky today!

After a whole day of mist and fog yesterday it dawned beautiful 

About 100 swallows were swirling about all over the place outside the window 

We packed up, had breakfast, settled the bill, checked the room and started back up the road 

We made it back in three hours and after a cuppa, we headed up to the allotment two corn had been massacred so we picked all the ones who are ready 

All packed up and frozen now 

Then we headed to the cattery and picked up the cats.  They were not happy.  They howled all the way home 

Now they are happy 

We were exhausted. 

Absolutely exhausted
