Hint of Pink

It has been a very wet day with rain from early morning continuing all day. Our weather station is indicating we’ve had about 2.5 cm of rain. And there’s more coming tomorrow.

I ventured out late this afternoon for a wander in the village and popped into the churchyard to find the autumn flowering cyclamen in bloom. A little pleasure at the end of a wet day.

Grateful:
- To our local wildlife rescue centre and vet who were so helpful in assessing an unwell baby hedgehog I’d found at the allotment. Sadly it wasn’t possible to save it. Hopefully some of the late summer litter from which it came will survive.
- For the wooden dowels I bought yesterday which were used for holding drying apple rings in the oven.
- To Merlin for his patience with being inside so much today.
