Discharged

I had my Surgery yesterday and had some minor respiratory issues in recovery mostly asthma related. My tubes are narrowed to much for the scope and laser to blast my stone. The Dr has put a Uretic Stent in, this is a tube that goes from the Kidney to the Bladder to open the tube up. I am feeling the best I have since December, looking back at my history now I think I have had this stone since December. Marie is on her way from Timaru to pick me up and we will spend 2 nights in Christchurch but not at the Hospital. I can not praise the Nurses and Staff so much even the Surgeon prefers to called by his first name. The standard of care has been so good. The stent will come out in about 6 weeks and the stone will be blasted to bits. Thank you for your well wishes really have appreciated it.
