Splitting some logs into smaller pieces and making some a bit of kindling. It’s ideal.

My wife stripped some wallpaper off the walls of the wee downstairs toilet. It was a reasonably straightforward task on the occasion.

Much of the afternoon was gardening. We did some bush trimming and a bit of a general tidy up around the side and front of our other place. The berberis’ looked all the better of a trim; the paths and some shared hard landscaped areas looked tidier at the end of our efforts. A couple of the neighbours give us words of encouragement and approval. That’s nice.
