skids
A defensive extra wash of the drumful of old towels turned out to be necessary, after there was still a load of dye particles in there after a scrape of the invaginations of the door seal, a drum clean cycle, an empty hot cycle and a sacrificial old-towel cycle. Whenever I've dyed some flaxen employment-trousers (inexplicably usually sold in beige or white) I give everything a clean beforehand to reduce the amount of detritus available to store dye to surprise future washes.
