Three Lovelies

It’s been so wonderful spending time with three of my lovely children this week. When they don't live at home any more, it’s a real treat to be with them and I’m so pleased that they still want to come on holiday with us.
After packing up, we spent the last morning on our local beach Kennack Sands. We had a few games of spikeball and a coffee. No last swim for us - there were lots of jellyfish washed up on the beach and having been stung here earlier in the week, we didn’t want to risk it.
After leaving the beach, we stopped off at Gear Farm for pasties - advertised as the best in Cornwall according to our holiday cottage information. They weren’t wrong! I had an apricot and sausage roll which was jam packed with pork. A nice end to a wonderful holiday.

Now on the long journey home, via a call at the care home to visit my dad.
