Mr Bumble

A doctur rang me at 1105 this morning, within the fifteen minute time-frame, so maybe checking online appointments does work most of the time.

Not good news.  All but one of my bloods came back normal, but my calcium levels are slightly high and causing concern.  I will have to have another blood test, making sure I drink plenty of water for a few days beforehand.  If it still comes back high I will be referred to a specialist.  I pointed out that I had already had two parathyroid glands removed in 2016, which she then checked on my notes.  I'm going to have to think very carefully about what I eat and maybe tweak my diet to see if that helps in the long run.

It's been very humid today and the washing dried quickly.  I spent some of the morning lifting leaves that had very conveniently gathered together and JJ is now out there with the leaf blower.  I've also cut off a lot of the hydrangea flowerheads.

This bumble bee was rescued from the drive and placed carefully on a scabious flower but it's really not happy.
