FlowerFriday...Clematis

The new clematis I planted about a week ago has settled in, and growing well. The buds on it are opening up. I  hope it will clamber through the trellis next year, along with the jasmine.
A most beautiful summer's day today which really lifts the spirits.  Unfortunately, it's only a one off and next week, the temperatures are forecast to drop! Book group this afternoon, a few were away, but most of those there today enjoyed The Shock of the Fall...next book, How to Stop Time!
