Salanfe Lake

This dammed lake in a fabulous glacial basin, is easily accessible from the Van d’en Haut village above Martigny. I haven’t been there for a 3 years and we found ourselves in the middle of the Swiss Peaks race! (We weren’t running and neither were most of the competitors as the footpath is very steep! They had already done 27km of the 100 or 174km depending on which distance they were doing … bonkers!). 

When I returned home Preston was happy to take his medication and hadn’t even been asking to go outside. He is much better though. Thank you for all your concern for him, he’s a lucky boy having such a great fan club!
