Moseley Old Hall

I visited this beautiful property with a friend today. I was very impressed by it all except the tiny narrow lane up to it and the noise of the nearby M54. Oh, and the tedious journey home down the M6!

The house and gardens were beautiful and fascinating. We had a very good volunteer guide dressed in appropriate costume who told us the story of how Charles II came to spend a night there after the Battle of Worcester.

Well worth a visit.
