Remains of the Day

It’s been a beautiful day today, so M and I had our dinner in the summerhouse this evening. M cooked a delicious mushroom and Stilton risotto while I watered the garden pots.

We’re still in the summerhouse now, but the light is fading. It’s bell-ringing practice on a Friday at our parish church, so we are enjoying the sound of the peals being carried in the air while we watch the sun set. It doesn’t get much better than that.
