Dolphins at Point Lynas !

Still no dolphins but big crowds hoping to see them So we went to Pary’s Mountain site of an old copper mine near Amlwch. The hole was dug out with picks and shovels the ore was broken into small pieces then burnt oxidising the copper and releasing arsenic fumes. The copper oxide dissolved in sulphuric acid then scrap iron added to the copper sulphate solution so the sulphate released the copper and formed iron sulphate and copper precipitated out I have no doubt in 1800’s everything that wasn’t wanted would be dumped in a river and out to sea.
All a bit different now no mining no fires no copper no work
