3539. Chicken Piccata

I decided to do some meal preparation for next week so that I don’t have to do any cooking before we go on holiday!

I made Chorizo and Ravioli Bake in the slow cooker and we had a portion of that for lunch today, with another portion in the freezer for next week.  Whilst this was cooking I made some Chicken Piccata, for Monday plus I have a portion of the Thai Basil Stir Fry I made yesterday, for Sunday lunch!

We went to see Beetlejuice this afternoon, and what a disappointment it was too….terrible story line…Winona Ryder had the most immobile face I’ve ever seen and if it hadn’t have been for the always watchable Michael Keaton, I think we would have walked out!

Hubby managed to lose a bag with our flight tickets and hotel information (he left it in the loo in the cinema) and after returning to the pub we had a drink in before the cinema and checking in the cinema, I suddenly remembered he’s been to the loo as soon as we got there…and there it still was…phew….
