Bountiful harvest
Like so many soft fruits this year, the rowan berries are hanging in glorious red bunches. (A pity I’m not mad keen on rowan jelly.)
It has been another beautiful day and I spent much of it working in the wilderness that was once our garden a few months ago. I shudder to think how much worse it might have been if it been a warmer, drier summer. I think I need to consider some adaptations to the planting in the garden if I want to holiday away from the island as much as I did this year.
I’m thankful for an easy meal for tonight as I’m more than ready to put my feet up.
