The hot sunny weather that much of Britain experienced missed us today. Here we suffered from the North Sea haar without any sun and with dense damp fog for most of the day with our temperature never exceeding 14c. The next couple of days are forecast to be similar so it will probably be too damp to collect any of the soggy brambles to freeze for later. Like many of the garden plants, the tiny viola heads are weighed down by water droplets.
