Kilkeel Harbour

Both photographs were taken after 11:30pm and before midnight.  Killeel has the largest fishing fleet in Northern Ireland, although it's not half the fleet it used to be thanks to the E.U.   I spoke the the skipper of this boat, he is sailing to west Cork, which will take 36 hours and then a further 24 hours out to the fishing grounds.  He has over 40,000 litres of fuel onboard and this will last for 30 days, so I told him that I hope he has a good chef onboard!

Lots of activity at this time, but I do need my sleep.
