Spiders and......shorebirds

It's that time of year, there are dozens of spiders around and they are big. I'm not sure what this one had in his web.
I was talking to one of my customers today and she told me that her husband goes out and breaks all the webs, but he doesn't move the spiders. He refuses to kill them. A few minutes later they are building a new web across the doorway. Two of my workers would be trapped in the house for days, lol, because they would not go near a spider. One of them was late for work one day because there was a spider in her doorway. I laugh and torment them about their fear of spiders.

After we finished work this afternoon I stopped at Conrad's Beach for a walk. Lots of shore birds running around in the sand, feeding as the tide was going out.

Rainfall warning in effect right now, 30 - 50 mm forecast for tonight and another 20 - 30 for tomorrow. Some places could get more as there are possible thunderstorms too. It is also supposed to be windy overnight and tomorrow. It looks like tomorrow will be a day to stay at home and get caught up on paperwork and housecleaning.
