Phew ...

Back at The Priory Inn this morning and phew to it being an eeny weeny bit cooler today! Though I think that may have been partly due to being in such a large high ceilinged restaurant with all the doors open!

They've got such great art displayed on the walls too - loads of local talent with a wide variety of styles and a lot of it for sale which is great. They also run a "Barter at the Back Door" scheme where people with overflowing allotments can bring their surplus in exchange for vouchers to use in the restaurant and bar. A lovely old lady was there when I arrived with strawberries, raspberries, potatoes and chard. She was quite intrigued as to how they'd use the chard as she only ever feeds it to her rabbits!

And writing this up now I really should have been speedier with getting the camera out and blipped her!!! I blame the heat!
