Robobug

I was wandering looking for something to blip this morning when this little bug caught my eye. I have no idea what kind it is, but the colors and reflective nature are amazing! Perhaps it is trying to warn other animals not to eat it? The bright colors and metallic nature made me think that he could be some kind of psychedelic robot. Check it out full size to really see the fine details!

Regardless, this little guy was cooperative to sit stationary while I took multiple shots with my macro lens. The only disappointment was that the light was limited and I did not bring my tripod. I would have loved to increase the depth of field, but could not since the camera was handheld.

Finally, I will be off the grid for a few days and so look for some backblips.
