Business breakfast

I went for a business breakfast in my new rôle as editor this morning, to discuss with my author (and lovely daughter-in-law!) where we’re at in the publishing process. Much earnest discussion ensued, along with a lot of family chit chat as well, of course. After I took this photo she asked me whether this was for my blip, which I took as permission to use it, so let me introduce you to T.

She’s now at the theatre in town with Son #1 and Granddaughter #1 (having endured a long delay caused by a member of the cast being stuck in a traffic jam owing to a nearby protest march). 

On their return they will be joined by Son #2 and his family so, for the first time in a long time, all ten of our immediate family members will be here, having supper together. I’m so looking forward to it.
