Bring me sunshine.

The only sunshine we have seen today is these sunflowers planted near the pond, and surrounding the ‘ Cup and Saucer’ stone.
Dating from before 1379.

The bright spot in our day was a visit from our eldest grandson and his fiancée. George and Emily.
The wedding is three weeks today and excitement is mounting!
They came to bring MrC a pamphlet which George spotted in an antique shop. He thought his grandad would like it, and he was right.
‘ League football’ dating from 1972.
Across the centre pages is a photo of the Leeds United team  Division One 1972 - 73.
What a great team that was. Included Jackie Charlton, Billy Bremner, Norman Hunter, and many more great players.

Unfortunately many of those players are no longer with us.
