Bit of a reading indoors type of day. Finished the outstanding new book by Jenni Fagan called Ootlin about her life born and brought up in care. It’s an amazing story, unsettling and upsetting but somehow still has hope and humour. Very thought provoking, the role and competence of the state and bigger questions about humanity and if we’re all becoming less caring…I blame Thatcher!
