50 years together

John and Mary Coyne (founders Wells for Zoe ) celebrate 50 years together

Today the friends in Malawi of John and Mary surprised the pair with
an early anniversary celebration .

After a very special mass and blessing by the Catholic Bishop of Mzuzu a great evening was had by all. John recounted their first meeting in Tooreen dance hall in Mayo 50 years ago when they were both 17. They have been together since . In August they celebrate 45 years of marriage .

Following Malawi tradition , John and Mary are helped cut the cake by
Br Donatus (John of God ), Harisen (Wells for Zoe ) and Bishop Joseph .
The theme of the night was from Ann, First Love.
