The dark side of the Peacock

There were so many in my mother's garden, but I wasn't able to blip a single one with open wings. I tried hard.

I haven't told my family about my two little accidents last week and my mother didn't notice anything either. I think it might be normal at her age that she is only concentrating on herself. The world outside her house is far from her little world. It's sad, but it is what it is. Haven't been in contact with my sisters or cousins either. Don't know when I stopped 'telling' people, but somewhere down the road I have. 
Tried driving today.  Surprisingly no problem, no pain. The only problem I see for next week is rainy weather. I have one pair of sandals I can wear with the still swollen foot. Might become a wet affair if the swelling doesn't go back quick enough. And I have a business meeting in Saarbrücken Wednesday and would like not to appear barefoot.
