A New Hope

Had a lie in, but when my alarm went off I could have thrown it out. I'd woken up about 4am and struggled to get back to sleep.

Did some reading and listened to the test match in the morning.

After lunch I went down to Neath, it was the start of the new rugby season. Every season starts the same, full of hope and excitement at what the new season could hold for your team. Our bubble burst pretty quickly, with two quick tries for Merthyr. At half-time we were 28-0 down. We fought back after the break with two tries, but then collapsed and lost 45-19. It was the manner of the defeat that was worrying.

But good to see the rugby gang again.

Hopefully a quiet night.
