Soggy Sweet Peas

I continued to feel unwell this morning.  I did drag myself out for a very short walk in the mist, just to see how I was – not great was the answer.  I came back and called the GP surgery and eventually got through.  They said they would call me back, which they did in about ten minutes and offered me an appointment.  I was sitting in the surgery waiting room by 08:45, waiting to see a GP.  She took a look at the infected area, poked and prodded it – which was very painful, and she did a few other checks.  I left with a prescription for anibiotics, some advice on what to do with my pustulous  mass, and a further appointment with the nurse on Wednesday.  The GP thinks it may be an infected sebaceous cyst.

I called my boss when I got home, and then went straight to bed, where I spent the rest of the day, mostly asleep.  It’s amazing how something “so small” could make me feel so rubbish.

Our sweet peas in the dampness of the day, hastily snapped when I came back from the GP.  The September weather is not improving.
