Rhododendron in sunlight

I have blipped this amazing plant in our garden before , but this evening in the full sunlight I was drawn to it again, standing proud, the leaves erect and the whole thing a picture of good health.

It is a full tree now but it still hasn't flowered . However we saw one like it at Arduaine last year and were told that it would probably flower "eventually".

We continue to wait with baited breath.
