Elders

This is the nature reserve just outside the Mallorcan resort we're staying at. It looks lovely in the early evening sunshine - and it's full of 'stuff', including mosquitoes aplenty (thankfully they tend not to bother me) and we even saw a snake last night on a path on the way to dinner, a small one I grant you  but a snake nonetheless. It keeps us on our toes.

Was up early today and in the pool for a fairly big swim pre-breakfast and the rest of the day passed in the usual holiday fashion, including a 90 minute spa visit - sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, the works.

On the reading front I started 'Money' by Martin Amis, I can scarcely believe I've not read it before. I'm rationing it a wee bit so I don't run out of reading material but so far....really very good indeed.
