The Groove

I would love to be able to claim I am now back in the groove, but it would be a lie. 

Several times today I found myself thinking about booking another (short) trip. 

My Parkrun antics are not back in the groove either. I had another "training" Parkrun this morning. That virus has not left my system completely yet - judging by the lumps of green slime I cough up from time to time. 

Bet you are glad I shared the update, but this Blipper does not hold back.

On a more positive theme, after my gentle trundle around the Loch Leven course I went into Loch Leven's Larder for a coffee and croissant, and ended up having a good chinwag with some of the volunteers. 

One of them has a granddaughter studying in Köln and I could see a glint of Parkrun tourism in his eye when I was talking about the Rheinpark course. 

My Blip is the run director's briefing before we launched ourselves up the hill for the first time. The mist looked like it would clear at any moment, but it didn't.
