Call Duckling.

Thought I had more time. Early doors one of our call ducks hatched out her first duckling. We have four so far. I had to assist one that did not have the power to break out of the egg. I spent hours today trying to give it some strength by hand feeding boiled duck egg yolk, starter crumb and brewers yeast, teaching it to drink and keeping it warm in one of Poppy’s cuddly toys and under the heater.
