The Wife, the Watch, & the Weekend Dog

I spent the majority of my day at our church, stuffing boxes for OCC...Operation Christmas Child. (In the extras, our Pastor Mike is readying the assembly line for the church member loaders.) It went well, with a nice soup lunch and many boxes packed.

I made a Bisquick chicken pot pie for supper, and then started our first fire of the season in the back yard. Now, it's pushing 10 p.m., and I'm thinking of retiring for the night. I'm on the last 75 pages of the 12th book in the Walt Longmire series, written by Craig Johnson. I've really enjoyed them. Yep. (That's what Walt says.)
