II dolce far niente

- the sweetness of doing nothing.
Yesterday was very hot and not condusive to doing a lot and so we joined the few Romans about and did very little.  Our biggest effort was the hop on hop off bus service past many of Romes great monuments and sights.  
September has, in the past, been the time when  tourism dies down, kids are back at school and adults back at work.  My extra shows the crowds at the Trevi fountain - we came, we saw and we left.
