Community Festival

The day began with rain that thankfully cleared up in the early afternoon.

I started my day by puttering about doing a few things I needed to get done, then napped for a couple of hours in the early afternoon.

Kent & I headed to church at 4:30 as we were holding a community festival with free food and games and music for those wanting to attend. We had over 1,000 people in attendance.

I enjoyed myself but was very glad I had had a restful day as the heat and humidity soon took its toll on me.

The festival closed with a special live streamed broadcast of the Tabernacle Choir performing in Florida that was shown on the large screen inside our church building.

Kent & I left the festival just before the broadcast but watched it on the Tabernacle Choir’s u-tube page
