The Abbey Tavern, Howth

Our Rail-Sail journey from London to Dublin worked brilliantly and we arrived in Howth, north of Dublin just over 12 hours after we left home. Both the train to Holyhead and ferry were only about half full, and for the second half of the journey the sun was shining. At Howth there is a Maritime Festival going on, so the place is full of people, and we had a good seafood meal at the Abbey Tavern.
