Changi airport

Apologies for another Blip I didn't actually take! Here I am at 5.30am at Changi  airport,  in a display of real sunflowers, as we made our way to check in for our 5 hour flight to Darwin. It was 34C when we arrived. It's the end of the hot, dry season so the ground looks parched and the vegetation is looking very brown and crispy.
We are staying in an apartment hotel with my sister and her husband who travelled to Darwin from Maitland NSW via two planes ( Newcastle- Brisbane- Darwin). Really good to see Alison and Peter again. Last saw them a year ago when they visited the UK

We went out for dinner at the Moorish Cafe, a  restaurant specialising in Spanish/ North African/ Mediterranean cuisine which was delicious.
