Fall Ferns

I've always liked the changes in the ferns in front of the house when cooler weather sets in.  They go through a range of subtle colors.  Soon the trees will start their transformation, and it is much more vivid of course.  The "leaf peepers" will begin to clog the roads to catch a glimpse of the annual show.  Some much-needed showers last night but the week ahead looks lovely.  We've been very lucky.
