Unique ….

Another lovely day with Lili. They walk down to the beach, calling for fish and chips on the way home - a very unusual occurrence, but something they’ve been craving since yesterday. They’re tempted to eat them on the prom, but the competition from the seagulls means eating at home is certainly more relaxing! I don’t go with them as I’m really feeling as if I’ve been kicked in the back today - the bruising from the surgery seems to have really come into its own.

We spend a relaxing day at home, Lili being entertained by reading and nursery rhymes - I’m amazed how many of them I dredge out of my subconscious! Lili’s really not sure about her nana’s singing or the actions of ‘round and round the garden’, ‘incy wincy spider’ or ‘this little piggy’! I’m clearly out of practice!

Sadly the sunshine of yesterday has gone, but it’s still warm enough for us to eatoutside - G keen to make the most of what might be the last opportunity of the year - and we enjoy a delicious Keralan fish curry.

And I’m thrilled to find we’ve been able to reschedule our Madeiran holiday to early April next year with just the cost of the EasyJet flight change.

Inevitably it’s Lili who has to be my blip today. I love her zebra top inscribed ‘unique’; she certainly is! My main’s a triptych of her smiles, with a more serious shot in extras!
