Preparing for party!

When I came downstairs this morning I noticed our neighbours across the street had put up those gorgeous green glitter curtains in their living room and later in the day there was some hustle and bustle around the house in preparation for a fun party. Looks very exciting and brightened my dull day a little bit!

According to my dminder-app, today is the last day of the year for people living in Akureyri to get vitamin D from sunlight. The first day was April 3rd so we get a total of 157 D-days here in the north of Iceland. 
Better get ready yet again for those long winter months ... *sigh*
