The family at church
We all went to church today. My uncle was a regular member of the Salvation Army and did lots for them as their unofficial handyman. So, on this the first Sunday after his death, we decided as a family to go to the service. It was lovely (if emotional) to hear of him being remembered but reassuring to feel that he is with our Father, in a better place.
It was also harvest festival so lots of jolly hymns to sing too.
His death is hitting hard. J here on the right was grandad’s favourite and J worshipped the ground grandad walked in! He is finding it particularly hard to come to terms with.
