The humidity is off the scale, but at least there was a fresh breeze on top of the mountain. Still signs of the destruction by the recent storms all round es Mercadal: toppled walls, rocks on the sides of roads etc. Apparently it will cost 27 million euros to restore everything and compensate the victims.
