Final shot from Kilkeel

It was an interesting couple of days in Kilkeel and the hotel was very comfortable, I would go back for another stay.  The story and the fortunes of the Kilkeel fishing industry is interesting and worth recording.  I spoke to a number of skippers and crew and it is very much an industry in decline being forced out of business by E.U. regulation.  One skipper from the Republic of Ireland said that the UK and RoI are the two countries that suffer the most.  This was the skipper who told me his boat took 40,000 litres of fuel.
