These boots...

An impromptu Nana and Richard afternoon with Simone and Frieda:  Marianna was ill in bed, perhaps a final episode with the sickness bug that we've all had, and Jack was racing to finish a job application before the deadline.
We had good fun. Richard played various games with Frieda, while I accompanied Simone on her travels around the house. Today her favourite game was putting on Frieda's boots. I can remember the fascination with trying on my mother's shoes when I was small, and Simone just loved stomping about in F's boots, even though they kept falling off her tiny feet.
