how do you like them apples?

These are just a few of the windfalls from our trees - some Discovery and a lot of Katys (my favourite). I sent a photo of them to Luke as he is a big fan of apples, but sadly he isn't here to help us eat them. Maybe I shall take a bag when I visit him next weekend..

I have resisted the temptation to go anywhere this weekend, preferring instead to stay local, gardening, walking and just enjoying the lovely sunshine. I did go on a walk today, trying to get in the miles as it is now only a week until the Kiltwalk.

Time to go and make a blackberry and apple crumble :-)
