My worst shot

... today was this one. I have been hoping to see a hoopoe in the garden for at least a year. I have heard them a few times but they eluded me every time. This time as I was leaving for today's revelations about the construction of nuclear weapons I notice the unmistakable swoop and colours. Here he was just leaving having been frightened off by a car. I had managed to change the lens and walk 10 meters closer.

I have some much nicer shot of swifts,butterflies and dragons.

Otherwise a hot day and a mystery tour with Mrs Pepperpot to Augustow and beyond.
