Waiting all day for the low pressure over northern italy to send rain to us tonight. It’s hellish humid - 85% - and dark and overcast. J had a bumpy ride over the storms. Could be bumpy here at 1:00 am according to the forecast. Torch and candles at the ready. Hope the wind doesn’t pick up. I’ve reinforced my top-heavy borlotti bean trellis, tied up the polytunnel and tidied up possible fliers.
