Chamber Music
Fair to say, I've put a lot of work into this photograph, although it might not look like it. I've tried my best, not least because the trio asked for a copy of it at the time, and I don't want to look a complete 'all the gear but no idea' idiot. ;-)
Janet and I nipped up to Newark Park, after getting several pointers that this trio were worth the trouble, and oh my they were! Three Bop are Steve Browning on guitar, Paul Boniface on drums and John Cook on double bass. All three are masters in their art, and a few hours swept by with jazz and blues originals and overs. Several ladies of a certain age were delighted to take to the floor, too! one of whom I know quite well...
They were supposed to play outside in the walled garden, but the weather being what it is they came in and did their set in this small room in the main house. That meant the very bright albeit cloudy sky completely backlit them and blew itself out at the same time. This, then, is a composite of the trio and a sky I took from the balcony behind them.
I hope they like it! I have hundreds of other rubbish ones too!
