The Gyrn Moelfre

One of those odd Autumnal super hot days which feels slightly strange. We decided to stay fairly local and pop over the border to Llansilin to walk up one of the most prominent local hills The Gyrn. It rises like a sharks fin out of the ground and has a beautiful old track around much of its flank. To get to the top though it is about 350m straight up and very very steep track which is both torturous and fun at the same time. The prize apart from the views is a luxurious hollow out of the wind where you can drink a coffee and have a nice lie down and listen to the buzzards and other birds calling overhead.
