Forth Road Bridge
Walked to the midway point of the Forth Road Bridge, along the bike/pedestrian path, with H, D and my Dad. Dad was remembering crossing the bridge on the day it opened, 60 years ago, as he was a young stamp-collecting nerd and he wanted to get his first day covers from North Queensferry. As this is 2024 we saw some of the autonomous (driverless) buses driving passengers to and fro.
Main photo is of the walk up underneath from Port Edgar to the carriageway. Shame about the containers.
Looking up in the extra.
