St Monans Community Arts Festival

Lots of open houses, local artists showing and selling their arts and crafts, a fabulous selection of home made food in the Festival Cafe, workshops and demonstrations and more! 

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It was lovely seeing people's work and talking to them in their homes. There was so much to see, all the ones I visited were dog friendly, most had their own dogs too, Lottie enjoyed it almost as much as me! 

I met some really lovely people, people you just click with. It's a shame we are only here for a couple of days. Mike spent the morning in the Heritage Centre, learning all about St Monans maritime history and chatting with the volunteer on duty. He's a happy chap when he's around boats! 

More wandering round the village in the afternoon. What remained of the haar burned off and it got quite hot and we sat and enjoyed it, with Lottie in the shade! 

S had been busy all day but we met for lunch and had supper with her in the evening. I can't believe we leave tomorrow, but we'll see her again on the way home. A really super day.
