Opening the show

Our lovely friend A opened the 61st annual horticultural show this afternoon. The weather was not good today but a lot of folk turned out to support the event as always.  I had 4 entries in the baking section and managed a First and a Second, not a bad result. The brass band played and there was plenty of tea and cakes consumed.  A great village tradition
